Why Should I Have a Pro Plan?

If you’re anything like me, you don’t have time for your AC to fail—especially because it always happens at the worst possible moment. Fourth of July parties, kids’ birthdays, coming home from vacation to a 90° house… we’ve all been there.

When I bought my home in 2018, the first thing I did was upgrade the key components I knew would keep the system reliable, because I refused to deal with surprise breakdowns. That’s exactly why I created the Blue Collar Pro Plan. It’s designed to give you peace of mind, guaranteed reliability, and a trusted, veteran-owned team on call 24/7, 365 days a year. Why Did You Create The
Blue Collar Pro Plans?

I created the Pro Plans for the same reason I started Blue Collar Mechanical — to deliver higher-quality HVAC workmanship at a fair and honest price. After years working for the large HVAC corporations in the Valley, I saw firsthand that homeowners weren’t getting the level of quality they were paying for. Revisiting jobs and seeing rushed or careless work never sat right with me.

That experience pushed me to step out on my own. I believed that if I focused on premium craftsmanship, took real pride in every install, and treated people the right way, the business would grow — and it has. What started in my immediate neighborhood has expanded across the entire Valley.

I bring the values I learned in the Marine Corps — discipline, integrity, and accountability — into every part of this company. Those values have helped me build a great team and a reputation we’re proud of. The fact that most of our clients refer us to their family and friends tells me we’re doing things the right way.

Richard and his crew members were professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and they cleaned up the working area well. They took a video and photos of my AC unit and clearly described the issues that were causing the problem of my unit not working up to par. All the work was done at the time of their inspection appointment I scheduled. I called in the evening and I was scheduled the next day! Richard presented & explained numerous options for the replacement of my 27 year old unit.  Between the time we made a replacement date & that date, my unit blew a relay.  Richard responded that afternoon.

Called them to trouble shoot one of my rooms being much warmer than the rest of the house. Richard immediately diagnosed the problem & gave me a couple options for improving it. They re-worked some duct, added a new return/vents, and upgraded my thermostat for a very reasonable charge. I had one issue after the install and they came out immediately to take a look (nothing was wrong with the install!) Devin did the work and was super professional & friendly.
